Last year, Congress changed a law which, for decades, has allowed pharmaceutical companies to provide birth control pills at very low cost to certain health care providers.
In doing so, Congress inadvertently cut off college and university health centers and some community health providers from obtaining birth control at low cost.
This pricing affects over 3 million college students and 750,000 low-income women
